By not denying access to DNA testing they seek to hide flaws, injustice and corruption of the justice system, in order to maintain the public confidence in the system. Secrecy hides corruption from public view, and allows those in positions of authority to continue to harm others without worry of repercussion. The survival of corruption requires the cooperation of others and the maintenance of secrecy.

This is such a nice video. What a bunch of scum bags. This is really bad representation of the United States judicial system. So you take the lives of the innocents, and you put a price on these people lives, then you have the nerve to say the United states is the best county around. I AM US CITIZEN. BUT THEY LIED BECAUSE THIS IS NOT JUSTICE

This is a excellent video and the United States legal system is so fucked up. They just go around throwing innocent people in prison. But may god have mercy on their soul. These people that serve time like this know no amount of money can bring that piece of life back that was takin away from them

this is just one of thousands of cases of population control. Freezing these young mens chances to reproduce themselves and add on to their lives in a productive way

The US jails have too many innocent people in them. The poor are NOT properly defended. The state is willing to spend millions on prosecution if needed, but very little on defense. They should allow a defense budge equal to the prosecution budget so lawyers can question witnesses and spend enough time on the case to give the accused a fair trial. Without money there is no such thing as a fair trial and I wonder how many innocent people are rotting away in a system designed against them.
Excellent video! I'm giving it 5 stars and adding it to my favorites.
I also just signed the petition. Even one innocent person in prison is intolerable (and the Innocence Project has proved there's a lot more than one).
Thx 4 uploading this video :-)

And typically the innocent get harsher sentences because they don't show remorse! Of course they don't show remorse BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T DO IT!
Very often police and/or prosecutors knowingly convict the wrong person. They destroy, manufacture, or hide evidence; they trick people into confessing to crimes they didn't commit; and they shorten sentences of jailhouse snitches for lying about the defendant. If this is later proven, THEY should have to serve the prison term.
