The doublebassist is Rodney Slatford. I remember the rehearsal for this concert. Even when Curzon just sounded the "A" for the strings the tone was so warm and inviting.

What a gem!! Thanks so much for posting here , Clifford Curzon what a fantastic pianist such a shame he did n´t make more recordings and the Amadeus, wonderfull wonderfull.
