In an effort to imitate the birds of the air, man tries many different things. From the simple glider plane to the supersonic jet he experiments and explores, trying to achieve the effortless grace and ease of a bird in flight. The excitement, humor and perseverance of these attempts are visualized in "Experimental": the beauty of one man gliding gracefully over the land, the excitement of planes soaring and diving through the skies, and the humor of amateurs trying their wings. All these elements meet and blend to form a loving tribute to the grace and the spirit of flight. Produced and directed by Academy Award-winning director Robin Lehman.
