WI assembly democrats moved their desks to the lawn outside the Capitol to meet with constituents after the Capitol remained illegally closed again on March 2, despite a judge's order that it be opened to the public.

Rep. Barca was asked to move his desk back inside the Capitol. He refused, saying he would pay for any damage that might occur.

  • @19d4life Do you know how crazy you sound? It was 7 million dollars, and that was proven false. It was a wild claim initiated by Governor Walker. 7 million dollars worth of damage from tape? lol

  • @19d4life the protesters used painter's tape, and the union of painters / tradespeople who have cared for the capitol for over 100 years has volunteered their labor to remove the residue. so the cost is actually more like $0.

  • @19d4life you are an idiot who got that load of BS off of Fox News.

  • Can Walker not be arrested contempt of court for defying a court order?

  • Walker is trashing the state, and he is worried about the furniture?!!?

  • How can Walker go against a court order to open the Capitol to the people?!?!?!?
