AR Portal (AR Video-in-Video effects part II)

Augmented Reality Portal inspired from the game by Valve (well, sort of - a true AR Portal effect requires several cameras, maybe we'll do it later). The two devices can copy and paste each other's content in real-time. They also can add some video effects.

Because the holes are real, there is no screen, you have to look at a monitor to see the effect, this video is the output of the monitor we're all looking at.

How was the ball outside of the frame?

Are the pictures edited intot he vid in post-production or are there cameras on the abck of the frames sending pictures to the other frame live?

You can see an editing error in 1:51. ^^

There is no editing (apart of the cut between each effects, obviously). All is done live, and I'm actually watching myself in a monitor in front of me, with the effects added live.
