A repost of this rare recording cleaned up using sonic foundary. This gives you a much better version of the song, which many people liked, therefore the crakle and pop on the original upload is replaced with this one. The song is a first world war song, made famous in the 60s by Vince Hill and Dorothy Squires. One of the 105 tracks on the Real Gracie Fields cd from online stores.
This track is first on Cd
"Our Gracie " as she was fondly known was a wonderful lady. She brought so much happiness to the troops that were fighting to a save Britain from falling into the hands of Hitler and his henchman. Great song.
