A repost of this rare recording cleaned up using sonic foundary. This gives you a much better version of the song, which many people liked, therefore the crakle and pop on the original upload is replaced with this one. The song is a first world war song, made famous in the 60s by Vince Hill and Dorothy Squires. One of the 105 tracks on the Real Gracie Fields cd from online stores.

  • "Our Gracie " as she was fondly known was a wonderful lady. She brought so much happiness to the troops that were fighting to a save Britain from falling into the hands of Hitler and his henchman. Great song.
