Forget Me

A short film which is designed to provoke thoughts about how we have changed the world.

The film was specifically filmed entirely using a mobile phone; the connatations of this are not usually good, they usually depict urban landscapes and have had little thought put into them. In "Forget Me" I have tried to incorporate a large number of visual metaphors, and will let the audience discover/consider these (without me spelling anything out!)

The film was shot entirely in Norway, where there are still parts of the landscape which remain untouched.

The music was written and performed by my Dad Richard Whitehouse specifically for this film.

Kind of an abstract obscure film, but equally interesting and aesthetically pleasing. I think the soundrack to the video basically makes the film interesting. Was the song about a lonely crab? lol

you must feel more than just "sad" ... when i watch this video, i get so overwhelmed with emotion that it surprises myself. the images are so intense and time passing by so beautifully set with out humans and the time with humans "civilizing" is shown very nicely on how we pollute and destroy our environment. rusty machines, and a flag at the end... a flag, so very imperialistic.
