Airshowvision proudly present the awesome ex. cold war nuclear bomber - the Avro Vulcan B2 XH558.

This aircraft was saved from the scrapheap by the Vulcan to the Sky trust, headed by Robert Pleming, and after years of restoration and fund raising, made its airshow return at Waddington exactly 3 years ago.

This display is flown by top Vulcan display pilot Kevin Rumins, who easily otperforms all the other vulcan display pilots, with his crowd thrilling wingover manouvers.

Waddington airshow 2011 wasn't a classic, but this aircraft wowed the crowds and upstaged the rather disappointing USAF Thunderbirds, who still haven't discovered coloured smoke it seems?

This video is uploaded especially for my good friend Jim Connoly, ex Vulcan serviceman, walking encyclopedia on the Vulcan and extremely nice chap.

Enjoy this fine aircraft while it still flies, and if you wish to donate to the upkeep, please visit the vulcan website for details...

  • I was there to see it! I also met Kev Rumens today, such an amazing person!

  • What an amazing landing, she has the power of a heavy weight boxer and the grace of a true lady.

  • oh god I want to see her again!!

  • I was there, what a display! :)

  • Great video! And the Vulcan upstaged everything at this airshow, although i wouldnt call the USAF Thunderbirds disappointing

  • Remember first seeing the Vulcan in July 1973 following the F-101 Voodoos Squadron. The Vulcan was the highlight of the whole Air Show. Went to the annual Air Show again in July 1974. Only the Voodoos Squadron was there not the Vulcan. It really was a let down.It missed the 1975 Air Show too but returned in 1976 and 1977 Air Shows. To this day it ranks as my favorite baddest ass Aircraft seeing on flying display along with seeing the Concorde and the B1 Bomber.

  • Glad to say i was there to witness this =)

  • Such a beautiful aircraft!
