don't bend your knee so much before your jump and try to get a rythm in the jump.. don't stand on the outside edge for so long try to jump earlier.. that's my advice=)

This is great to see. I'm also an adult skater and I've justed started working on my axel too, but I'm nowhere as close as you are. Keep up the great work!

don't bend your leg as much on the rotation! the axel took the longest to get and my dbl sal and dbl toe and dbl loop came a lot easier then this!! just keep praticing! Don't hold the edge as long and don't bed you leg as much!

I agree - it takes a lot of practice .. still don't practice it enough, but I WILL get it :-)

Very nice - I had it for a bit, but it wasn't a real axel .. I will start practicing again tomorrow morning!

You're close! Don't give up, you're trying too hard to rotate though and are starting to rotate before you've left the ice. Keep your right arm from coming around and jump straight and up then pull in...you've got good jump technique, if you can fix the take off you'll have a good axel!!
