i've never seen this show. it seems pretty good and i have a lot of respect for rollins now after seeing him address and discuss with vets like myself topics that are more important than the usual drivel on television.

Ash,I do not find it offensive, and I am one quarter Cherokee, although I'm sure you will want to say that I am "not pure" or "sold out" or whatever..it's a word..and the interviewee is trying to convey a point that they felt like they were alone. He talks more than once about trying to help and get basic things like water and electricity up, but because he says the word "indian", he's a racist? Uncork your head out of your ass and worry about what's going on NOW, not what happened 250 years ago.

you don't find that at all offensive? i realize it's a military reference and relevant, i suppose, to the conversation but it's pretty damn racist. obviously there's the fact he says "indian" which is, completely wrong but it just shows a complete lack of understanding of and not an ounce of regret for what our military and government did to the Native American people. It's disgusting to me how he just throws that in there like it's nothing.
