@MrXAVIERDB I have been playing Ovations for about 30 years. They have a very nice sound to them. I think that the recording engineers are the problem. I have recorded with mine, and used on gigs. The biggest problem I had was feedback when the amp was behind me. Going through a board cut that down quite a bit (the speakers were on the sides). So, I think the engineers don't know what they are doing.

As for price, I have seen others that don't sound as good but are higher in price.
