@bloggulator I must have missed the news that music had been turned into a competitive event--an angry one, at that. You may want to take joy where you can find it, dude. Oh, and Crimson WERE one of the "so-called prog bands."

@shredmaster100 Kind of a lot to put on old Johnny, don't you think, mate? Me, I'd want to reserve some of the blame for some of the progs themselves. A lot of Genesis sounds a bit precious when I listen to it now. ELP were more than a bit grand, as well. Kids just wanted to dance and fuck and the progs weren't very much from the neck down, as far as teenagers of the time were concerned. Hard for me to disagree with that assessment.
