These experiments not only seem to confirm Chalmers' hypothesis that consciousness is a fundamental property of the universe, but they indicate that consciousness is a unified experience--stimulations to one organism can be experienced by an unrelated organism.

In 1993, the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command conducted experiments where white blood cells were scraped from the mouth of a volunteer and placed in a test tube. Seated in a separate room shown a television program with violent scenes. the volunteer watched scenes of fighting killing, the probe detected extreme excitation in the cells in a room down the hall. The exp. repeated with donor and cells separated up to fifty mi and two days after the donation showed the same results.

Backster's results and conclusions were unreproducible by anyone else and are apparently not considered scientific. Hardly conclusive evidence.

"Responding to external stimuli" is not the same as believing exactly what your surroundings do.

AKA the Backster Effect. The plants not only responded to physical stimuli but also intention and emotion. If people only responded to external stimuli then you would belive exacly what your surounding belived, never wanting to know more. Our fears are brought on through interacting with the environment growing up. Many are similar because we are similar people and have similar experiences, and similar stimuli raise the same instinctual responses.

Your claims are just bare assertions, with nothing to back them but your own conviction. Fact is, no evidence exists that any source external to the body exists for the consciousness.

Simmilary you cannot function as well in this physical world if you are laking any of your sences but the intageble personaily functiong threw you is still the same. Do you belive we are all just products of our surroundings. Then why are there children who "never" expereineced a human form of life having fears, inclinations, and thoughts that have no physical reasoning behind them. If we were all blank slates then we would only respond to our current expereince and start of fresh, fearless.

If Consciousness is generated through the brains interaction with external stimuli, then why is there studys prooving the conciessness in plants, which are laking a brain. Yes a persons behavior outlook can be changed by dammaging the tool of the brain, but same with all the tools that make up the bodys, take for example any of our sences. You cannot build a house as well if you dont have a hammer but that doesnt change the builder.

The main thing is God, or what ever you want to call the higher power who is Sutaining our little planet that floats in the middle of space, love us for all that we are our faults, weeknesses, strenths, and knows everything about you, and the more you seek him the more fufillment comes to your heart. Impossible to proove, yet very possible to expereince. One love, we are all one:)
