Josie, HCA USDAA, December 2008

Josie kicked some 26" butt in Kerrville this past weekend!! (12-14 December 2008)

Friday:
*Gamblers -- 1st & Q!! What a girlie :)
*Snooker -- 2nd & SuperQ
*Jumpers -- 3rd place & Fastest time - just 1 silly little bar!
*Steeplechase Round 1 - I caused an R and wasted some time, and she took the panel right after that (I was way out of position) but she took 4th & Q! What a girlie!

Saturday:
*Standard -- 170yds in 37.77sec -- fastest time of all dogs on a tricky but very fun course! She took 2nd place with 1 bar on a hard line towards the end. Super proud of this run :)
*Gamblers - 1st & Q again!! Maybe next year both girls will be in TT Gamblers in their respective jump heights in 2009 :)
*Relay -- 2nd & Q, with Max the Aussie (& that was her RCH-Silver!)
*Grand Prix -- 2nd fastest of all dogs (to Ivie!) Missed DW contact - 1st place for the monkey!
*Snooker -- 1st & SuperQ :o)

Sunday:
*Relay -- we weren't 'on' during this run and took too many faults to run off (missed it by 0.87 - aye!)
*Standard -- Josie had a great run, but took a bar. 2nd place!
*Jumpers -- ANOTHER 26" Jumpers Q!! WOOWOO!!!
*Steeplechase Round 2 -- 1st place!! She got to re-run it for time as the first time she ran the timers didn't stop. Hence the picture-in-picure in the video. I just thought it was a fun comparison :) The first run is in the big screen and the 2nd is in the PIP.

She placed in almost every single run, even the one's she didn't Q in. Just one little fault here and there kept our Q-rate down, but I am SO pleased with her overall performance. She's a true Champion, and my heart & soul.

A SuperQ is a Snooker Q placing in the top 15% of the class. You need 3 for your Agility Dog Championship title. Josie has 18 now, I think.
