Why the hell didn't you build everything outside the spawn area and then move it? That way you can keep running in to get supplies quickly and not run miles.

This video was created in 2007 (almost 4 years ago - two months after its release) and moving your buildings with the engineer was not yet implemented into the game. He became able to move his buildings in the Engineer Update from 8th of July 2009.
