  • I have another question, what is the Hiring Manager looking for? I am appyling as a Server in Fine Dining/ Dinner Service Restaurants. I suspect that they would want someone that's very friendly, has a positive attitude, can handle stress, gets along with his co-workers and managers, and does his job well. Am I on the right track? If you have anything to add to this list, would you please let me know?

  • @robocock100 your questions inspired me to record a new video and write a new blog post addressing your specifics. You can check them out at The Job Shopper blog or here on our NESCOResource channel.

Hope this helps, and good luck with your interviews.

  • Thanks! Great tips. If I get the job tomorrow I'm buying you a dinner.

  • @ARMONDMIRZAKHANI Glad you found the videos useful. Best of luck with your interview, and when you're in Cleveland, dinner's on you.

  • Aside: Try watching yourself at half speed. "NoOoh Offfisher, I haaaaven't binnn drinkin'..."

  • interviews are so dumb. they are all ingenuine. employers should not except rehearsed answers like these

  • I have attorney fees and drug habit. Bad answer.

  • Going for a phone interview in a few hours. Thanks again for the vids. They give me more confidence knowing at least what to expect and how to relate my skills to what the employer is looking for.

  • These videos are pretty funny if you stare at his left eyebrow.

  • would this be a good answer? 'i use to be a dishwasher and on a weekend night if i dont work hard and fast then theres no plates to put the food on so i am very good at working hard and at a fast pace for a long period of time, i am confident and resposible and i would be a great contribution to your company'

  • Thanks for all your tips. You are doing a wonderfful job, keep up the good work of helping others to improve themselves. Blessings

  • I have a question sir, I recently passed the national board exam and a fresh graduate, however, my degree is also relevant to the qualification needed for the job. unfortunately, i do not have enough work experience aside from on-the-job-training suited in the same capacity of industry. how am i going to respond to the question without being undervalued with my knowledge and technical skills? Thank you.
