  • The reality is that All peoples of Balkan learned everything from Turks

words in their language, music, food, clothing.

What have Modern Greeks in common with Ancient Greeks?

    Let me think uhm................

    Nothing..............

    oh no.... there is something

    only the language.

  • @Nickname997 nice theory.but there is unfortunatly a sdad fact that modern greeks have many in common with ancient like similar culture, great scientists, artists authors, athletes etc.can u please tell me what turkey has offered to the world to this day except of yughurt?secondly what is common between greek and turkish music and clothing?the only similarities are in food my dear.

  • @MakedonphiliposThe differences with ancient and modern greeks. 1Religion- christian -pagan 2 Architecture- temple-church 3 Clothing- chiton-fez 4 Music- more middle eastern 5 Food- more middle eastern influence For example Rice spread under Ottomans some Greek dances have turkish names What Turks offered to the world? Ottoman Empire It has offered and was more glorius than what Greeks ever did or will ever accomplish.
  • @Nickname997 3 what is fez? 4 can you post me at least 1 folk greek song that sounds like middle east?cause all scholars make clear that our folk music has 100% european roots.about 5 i agree there are few foods that have something middle eastern.about 2 of course since the religion changed.and yes they offered something very important, the ottoman empire hahahahaha pure brainwashed animal!

  • @Makedonphilipos Fez is that red cap, it spread to greece from North africa,

Muslims of north africa wore fez and Ottoman conquered north africa in 16th century. The Turks in the navy started to wear fez.

Turkish navy was going from Algiers to Istanbul all the time. And the Greek islands and Morea is exactly on the way so they always stopped there and Greeks and Albanians who lived there started to wear them they became influenced.

  • @Nickname997 fez idiot was used only in some islands, in mainland they used a black hat that had nothing common to fez, fez was used only in battles for reason that i ignore (possibly for camo)

  • @Nickname997 The Ottoman Empire set Greece back 400 years + and this is why Greece is struggling now to reach the level of Western Europe. Germany, France, etc, have surpassed Greece because during the ottoman rule it was frozen in time. There was ZERO progress since 1450! My mind boggles that u actually believe that shit ur writing. Greece is the mother of civilization, this is universally accepted to be true. Only Turks, Albanians, etc, try 2 claim otherwise because they have a certain agenda.

  • @Nickname997 Are u serious?! I won't even bother writing anymore because it would be a waste of my time. Greek culture = Western culture, that's all I need to say.

  • @Johnstr574 That is way some greek dances, food, music instruments have Turkish names.

Bouzuki the famous greek instrument comes from Turkish word bozuk broken, it is related to Turkish saz

Greek has a lot of Turkish words in origin.

If you would see the Greek costumes in their war of liberation in 1821 you will not see the ancient spartans or athens or byzantine costumes but you will see Greeks exactly dressed as muslim Turks with Turbans and sabres and long mustaches....

  • @Nickname997 More like the Turks copied everything from the Balkan people...

  • I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW ABIT MORE AS I GOT THE BIBLE DATED 1832 WITH MOSES

  • @davelantor I don't know what your real last name is and I don't care. But what I know is this:

You wanted to present yourself as a "Finnish citizen" (and NOT Turkish) so you can disprove what I was saying: That your biased view of the Greeks comes from your environment, school education or family. It might not be a serious issue for you, but It is not called "speaking out" when someone presents an ugly picture of gay men to portray Greeks, or calls them all "lazy fυcks". This was my final word.

  • @synchroflash2 very close indeed, but still havent lied to you :)

Never said i am not a turkish citizen, never said denied being a turkish citizen either.

Also, how sure are you that my last name is Ozan ?

Depending on your answer i have a final word to say.

  • @davelantor I see what you are doing.

Here is your message when I saved it yesterday:

"I am a Finnish citizen living in turkey you moron. "

Now for the last time: You are Turkish and maybe Finnish too. Maybe your mother is Finnish. But you are Turkish living in Turkey.

Do you see how easy that was?

I am a Greek living in the States. Nothing to hide.

Nothing else to say to you. Relax and go back to your intellectual video gaming. I am bored to death and disgusted by people who lie.

  • @synchroflash2 AHAHAH "IT IS STILL THERE IN GOOGLE CACHE" ... AHAHAHAHAH

SO ?, even if i had a chinese first name and if i had chosen to not reveal it, thats by no means a lie.

Also, i can tell you are a kid, or atleast as un educated as a kid, because you have no idea how the world works :).

LOL, so according to you, i must be either a Finnish citizen or a Turkish citizen .. lol, get out of the house a bit will you.

Also, for your information Ozan is not my last name :)
