Which…is why they put better processors, smaller (but just as capable, if not more) components, and have a much larger (and more capable) battery to compensate for the retina display, which gave the iPhone 4 an even BETTER battery than the 3GS. Man, people are fucking stupid.

Is that really any worse than someone, who's obviously repulsed by nerds and Apple products, coming to a video about Apple's screen technology, offering their thoughts that lack substance and insight to another person that said something that was simply common sense?

"HD" means either 720p (1280x720) or 1080p (1920x1080). Their marketing term "Retina" refers to a high pixel density, depending on whatever device you're using, you cannot see the pixels.

It has nothing to do with resolution, but ppi/dpi.

The Retina display iPad has a resolution of 2048x1536. Since 1920x1080 is 1080p HD, CLEARLY "HD" is an inappropriate term.

So yes, excuse these "Apple sheep" for simply being amazed at objective facts.

The first device to have a Retina display was the iPhone 4, that was in the summer of 2010! Steve died in late 2011!
