@WishmasterTheDark no...u got me wrong.. i wanna say that today when u tell someone u like metal they will probably think that u love bands like hammerfall, ensiferum etc. but in 80's when u told someone that u like metal, he was ooo then u like wasp, dio twisted sister quiet riot etc.. thats my point but really there is only a few bands that arent atcually metal.

@WishmasterTheDark sorry bro, but umm. yeah.. back in the 80;s most of this was considered heavy metal. by todays standards .. sure.. some of them may be called rock bands, but back then this was what we called metal. motorhead? not metal? really?
