One of the best records ever IMO, simply wonderful. I first heard it last yera on the radio, and after it had finished the DJ who played it said, "You can't follow that one, but here's the next song anyway." I think he was probably right.
It was June ’66 when I visited Chet Powers at his apartment in Berkeley. Members of Moby Grape, Jefferson Airplane, and the Dead were there for a birthday celebration. Recall playing this song with Chet, Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, Jack Cassady, Jorma, and Grace. Right after, he was busted for weed, spent ~4 years away from us. Chet, eventually joined the Quick Silver Messenger Service. We experienced a special spiritual bond playing this song that I’ve rarely felt since or before… a masterpiece.
I think I accidentally hit the flag as inappropriate button PianoMan I am so very sorry if I did I Love this video it took me right back to my days in San Francisco Beautiful People everywhere and we would sing this song loud and strong. Thank you so much the video could not be more perfect! sorry about the accident I find this very appropriate!!...Love Twinkle

One of the coolest "feel good" songs of the 70s. I am glad to be part of that decade!
