My late father had an interesting idea. He thought if existing gas stations were converted to battery stations, people could rent charged batteries from a station, turn in their depleted battery, like getting fuel, and be on their way quickly. Existing gas stations could stay in business as battery charging stations.

I am an automobile enthusiast and car journalist. I drove Peugeot Ion,,which is sibling with Citroen Zero and Mitsubishu iMiev. I swear after you try electric car (even that small as Ion is) you won't ever want to go petrol again. Electric cars are the future!

This guy is smart and my hat is off to him. I hope this will be a big success. I'm a former race car driver and fabricator and this is the only system I see working.
