An interesting subject but this particular spin seems quite biased. Utah's poor air quality this past year had more to do with our weather patterns than the refineries in south Davis County.

It is no suprise that childhood asthma is TWICE the rest of the state in Davis, and particularly South Davis County and it is in these areas that the concern for human health is elevated above and beyond!! Thanks for the toughts though.....

Not entirely correct. Although the degree of temperature inversion is ALWAYS a factor in how severe Utah's air pollution is, the fact is that when the temperature inversion is in and the air is stagnant and trapped, the areas near to the source polluters get hit the hardest because pollution concentrates around its sources.

"Utah's battle..." needs an apostrophe. Other than that, great trailer, and hopefully a great film.

We need to stop grossly polluting and start respecting the local environment that we live in. Drastic measures need to be made in order to maintain a healthy atmosphere here in the winter. We need to be the stewards of our environment - if that means cutting back on pollution during the winter - then it needs to be done.

HAARP ...? what are you trying to suggest here? Even if HAARP didn't exist we would still have inversions. It has nothing to do with this and is completely irrelevant in my opinion. what is relevant is the fact that the citizens and businesses of utah, salt lake, and davis counties are the culprits. They are polluting the air - and because of the weather they are forced to live inside their little bubble of pollution. a disgusting bubble I might add.

@unionpacificogden I agree with it having to do more with weather patterns, but contend these are manmade. Chemtrails will cloud a blue sky faster than all the cars and oil refineries combined. HAARP is moving masses of air around this planet. Creating updrafts and downdrafts to increase or decrease storms. Also there's industry on the other side of the Great Salt Lake that's polluting our air horribly.
