This was at Wolf Trap, wasn't it? I was there that magical evening and Dame Kiri was wonderful, as always (despite the 90+degree heat and bugs wafting through the heavy, humid air!).. Thanks for posting this.

I agree. She took amazing care of her instrument. This is the reward for not forcing huge opera arias on little kids. So many young talented singers nowadays are losing their voices because of over-ambitious 'stage-teachers'.
