What was your thesis exactly?

My thesis was directing this production, plus writing a big paper about it (analysis of the play, describing and defending my choices with this production, etc). The center of the play for me is the friendship between these two very different young men; they're trying to escape the fate of "Hamlet," and they can't agree on how to do it.

This looked like a good production, in general. I can tell you really worked on the friendship between Rosencrantz and Guildenstern -- and that's what really makes the play work. Some of the early scenes seemed a bit weak, but I've noticed that productions seem to have a difficult time getting that part.

I love what I saw. I wish I could have seen the whole thing. Ever since we read Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead in English 1302/Highschool Senior English AP I have loved the play. Job well done.
