We asked you to make your New Years resolution starting the year at Field Day, but have you ever wondered what your favourite artists New Years resolutions are?
Fuzzy TV takes you backstage and reveals the ambitious to the plain utterly ridiculous New Years resolutions of artists such as Jamie Lidell, Walter Meego, Bag Raiders, Switch and Late of the Pier, as well as interviews from Yo Majesty, DJ Mehdi, Digitalism and Ladyhawke.
Starting the year at Field Day is definitely one New Years resolution that people want to make again.
Well it is pretty true that there is lots of crooked club promoters and owners in king's cross. That's where everybody tends to go on a friday/saturday night. I dont becoz to me it's a rough place to hang out.

The other observation I would make is that outdoor music festivals used to be about the music ...nowadays it is just about what drugs you take...quite sad i think. It is a a big part of the reason why main stream music nowadays is so pathetic ...and why you have programs like idol milking the public. I tell you with these kinda "music" festivals u could play the theme music from Romper Room and you would have the crowd cheering...most people will have forgotten wot they listened to later anyway.

You are correct the answer IS "never" with the corrupt state gov't we have currently here is NSW but their days are numbered. That fact is they have seen the the alcohol and hotel/club industry as a mean by which only to make money and it has gotten worse in the past 13 yrs. Most of the big dance clubs are operated by the very people involved in distributing illegal drugs but since the clubs make the gov't money (thru liquor & pokie taxes aswell as licencing fees) they turn a blind eye.

I believe the answer to that is probably never mate because the government is a failure when it comes to illegal drugs. Samething with legal drugs such as tobacco and alcohol. Infact the state police is pretty much cracking down on alcoholic violence as the no.1 crime compared to cracking down on drugs as being no.3 on the list. Besides this event is pretty fun, I went to field's day back in 07 so it be unethical to stamp this out.

When are the government going to move to stamp out this event. It is nearly always held on extremely hot days (new years day) where people are whoffing down pills in the heat with no aircon..totally asking for od's....there is less ability to attend to individual cases when you got large crowds. There are always significant arrests for possession and dealing which these kinds of events both attract and foster and these are only ever the tip of the ice berg anyway as most slip thru the "security"
