That double-triggering 'hi-hat' pad/sound was very confusing to me. Can that be sorted out or is it just an electronic kit problem ?

You're very welcome, @dubbsmalone!

Hi @heartogramaddict, Linear drumming simply means that no two sound sources (drum, cymbal, cowbell etc.) are played at the same time.

thanks for the great lesson, these grooves are exellent. how are you recording those drums without getting the plastic hitting sound? i have the same kind of electric kit but idk how to hook it up to a computer which is what i assume you're doing?

@Anonomusturd The drum kit was plugged directly into the microphone input of my camera for these videos. No effects or computers needed. Thanks for your interest. Rob

@jodereusereloi It was a Sony and I can't remember the model. One with a mic input anyway. Rob

How come you use your left foot on the bass drum?

Hey @UKsnake07, I play both ways around. It's a bit confusing but it's because I play one way and then over years of teaching pupils learnt to play the other way around as well. Hope that kind of answers your question. Thanks for your interest! Rob :)
