My 13 second run in the turbo Escort ZX2.MPG

Of course, Larry forgot to announce my time. 13.90 at 106 mph. I'm not sure what I'm racing there. This is on the Ebay knock-off .57 trim turbo at 10 psi.

I ended up wrecking it. I was at the track going 85 mph when the hood came up. It is getting stripped for paint right now. The engine had 210,000 on it when that happened and it will be going back in the car. The turbo has about 8000 miles on it and does not have any shaft play. I know some people that have used the Ebay turbo with good results. Considering the low cost, even if it blows up you can get four more before it becomes expensive as name brand.

10 psi is not the same on all turbo's. I'm also running on a base tune and the car has never been on a dyno. The engine is factory original and un-modded with more than 200,000 miles. The turbo is an Ebay knock-off of a .57 trim. The car is in full factory trim with no weight reduction. With me and a half tank of gas it weighs 2750 pounds. I'm also on all season tires and only pulling high 2.3 60'. So, what exactly do you think the car should run? Keep in mind that my trap speed is 106.

wow i would have thought that 10 psi would get you more than that
