I almost had the same experience at La Prairie. I when to the La Prairie section and no one there so I decided to check the products out and all the products were empty.

I know...I hope they decide to make it a main-line product. But...you can still get them on eBay for about $25 (so about $7 more because they are sold out). Basically any volcanic ash mask will be good. Despite the brand, there are going to be the same basic ingredients, so it wouldnt matter what "name" was attached.

omg i totally hear u on the samples, i get ticked off when they say they have no samples so i make them look...makeup, skin care, perfume... i aint walkin away without some sort of sample lol gr8 vid.. i love that u do such high end skin care... xo

Ya, when they say they dont have samples (even tho you just sat there and listened to their "information" for ten minutes so you could load up on samples), I just ask for their card and nicely walk away. I mean, come on! Damn.

Oh no! Sorry to hear about your sample issue with La Prairie!!! - I really like their products; I think that your experience was unfortunate because I find that customer service is 80% a determinant of me buying a product.

Question for you about La Prairie and La Mer: I LOVE LOVE LOVE the La Mer creme and the gel - however they dont have SPF. I recently purchased a La Prairie anti-aging emulsion with SPF. Do I put the La Mer first or the La Prairie? - or they shouldn't be mixed?

@PeeEsPee Maybe check out some organic/all natural products online that you can make at home. You'd be surprised, some of them blow the expensive, store bought products away! Good luck!

I ran into thats same issue how they act like it is coming out thier pocket in giving sample, I go in and they all know me at the counters and know I spent thousands each counter I stop at, but what got me was one day i said can I get some samples now the lady had should me well over $8,000. in product her self and I was shocked when she said she can't unless I spend another $350.00 I couldn't believe it.

You're supposed to apply it on wet skin. You get the thermal effect when the product mixes with water.

God I wish I could afford good quality skincare products.. My skin is shit, and I can barely even afford drugstore products. It's soo frustrating! I don't even want to go out in public! :(

hello sweety. it's strange about la prairie, cause I'm a big fan of la prairie and I always get a lot of samples from them. I even had this platin cream 2 times 5ml, the serum with gold, with white caviar, and they were 5ml.

I have the feeling, that there are differences in europe and usa. In Germany I only had 2 times samples of la mer. Cause they say, la mer doest produce samples. Is it true? Many people are angry about la mer, cause the products are very nice and they want to test them
