I took this video on November 7th, 2005. November 7th is a holiday in Russia; In 1917, it was the day Lenin and his baddie buddies took power.
In 2005, President Putin Declared that November 7th no longer existed as a holiday, and that it would be replaced by the People's Unity Day on November 4th. Only, nobody seemed to buy it, and everybody showed up on the 7th in front of Karl Marx's statue just outside of Red Square to march and protest and rally and call shame on Putin! So it was apparently the funnest November 7th ever for the Communists. For me too, definitely.

I agree with you. They were revisionist and corrupt politicans infiltrated in CPUS, the same ones who would probably get arrested in Stalin times. They were people who "grew" under Hruschov/Brezhnev regime.

What glory he brought back? Russia is like a 3rd world country, 17% of population under poverty line, even Cuba(51st) and Belarus(63rd) has better HDI than Russia(67th), which is just 3 places after the "Medium development line".

Have you ever seen "The kids of Leningradskiy Vokzal", a sad documentary on Russian kids? What glory Putin brought back? Russia as the country with most smoking kids? Russia as one of countries with most billionaries?
