you cant go wrong with a dakota i got a 08 SXT quad cab 4x4 i made the mistake in buying the 3.7 for mileage... but the 4.7 gets better lmao oh well when the warranty voids here comes the 360

Thats the problem with the new trucks these days the factories are putting smaller tires on them and it looks like shit. I got a 2006 2500 i just leveled the front and am getting bigger tires on it. I cant wait. Any chance you getting a 0-60 vid up with the new Dakota?

love dakota and dodge but im not fond of the new "magnum" front. I LOVE the old school 2001Dakota. how is the power with the new 4.7? 302 hp can't go wrong.

The 4.7l rocks. I lined up with my brother (the 04 Ram in the last pic). It has a 5.7l hemi. From a dead stop I stayed ahead the whole way until I shut off at 98 and he kept rolling. His cuts out at 110. This truck is a beast, also added pipes to it recently. Can't do to much modifying or I'll void warranty : /

Only way it voids the warranty is if it is the direct causation of the problem that you need fixed under the warranty. IE if you fuck up the intake install somehow and it sucks up debris and craps out, that's your bad. However they can tell you they wont warranty brakes because of an intake etc... It's called the Magnusson warranty act. Go read about it.
I'm thinking about picking up a 4.7L sport crew cab. Lemme know how you like the truck as far as daily driving n shit. What kinda MPG?

Sticker says 19mpg highway. cruising back and forth to work at 55 i get about 22mpg avg. Thats not getting on it much either, it has a nice smooth ride, and a great passing gear. I dont care much for the small wheels on it, but itll change sooner or later. So far (3 months) its been a great truck.
