  • the goalie was so out of his goal it's obvious !

  • @GilbertsV1 What's your point?

  • This is the best goal in Penguins history? It's not even Lemieux's best goal! That would be either the 1:2 split against Minnesota or the time he undressed Bourque.

  • this was the game winning goal in a Stanley Cup Final game. It was a complete team effort, not just an individual.

  • alright first of all, coming from a true pens fan, satan is some shit and has almost nothin to do with the pens success. all the crosby haters only hate him bacause hes good so you can suck a fat one. oh and the pens just won the stanley cup so fuck everything

  • imagine Belfours line of thinking on this:

, okay, easy shot, ill just clear over to the side to FUCKIN MARIO oh SHIT!!

  • @daviddrakehunter Very informative. Thanks. I didn't get to watch this series so it was always puzzling to me - not that I denied it was a great goal - but why it was the greatest. Good explaantion.

  • @yantheman72 I would like to see that series. Don't forget that the early 80s were a much different time when it came to defensive scheming. MUCH easier to gain open ice. Not to mention players from the 90s were in much better shape physically, stronger, and larger. I would take that bet.

  • @jessc1979 This is unquestionably the greatest goal in Penguins history, and I'll tell you why. In the 1992 finals, you had the Pens (7 game win streak) vs the Hawks (11 game win streak) and the first game was going to set the tone for the series. The Hawks came out and OWNED the Pens at the start, and also matched their first attempt to rally. But the Herculean goal by Jagr to tie and this "hand of God" goal by Lemieux just about crushed the Hawks. A very different series without this goal.

  • @yantheman72 idk it would be like the cap pens series 2 years ago when we beat the caps in 7games.....lemieux, jagr, francis, cullen, barrasso both 80 oliers n 90s pens were loaded with stars too bad gretzky never came to the pens lol

  • @mariobrostamere You should go look at Jari Kurri's number before saying stupidity like that. Mario was great, but Gretz too.

The 80's Oilers would've kick the 90's Pens asses.......

(Anderson, Messier, Coffey, Gretz, Kurri, Fuhr......)

  • @GilbertsV1 yeah, what's your point? do you know WHY belfour or any other goalie for that matter would do something like that?

  • I have the same TV as you!!! I can tell because of the volume display!!!
