Almost a billion people in the world live without access to clean drinking water. We believe we can change this... with our birthdays.

The people who are so embittered by Invisible Children are dismissing Charity: Water because they don't want to look like fools again. Apparently they didn't learn their lesson. Invisible Children tricked those who never took the time to research the organization. Likewise, people dismissing Charity: Water clearly haven't actually done their homework, otherwise they'd know that it's an extraordinary organization. It would be kind of funny if it weren't so sad.

yeah the point was stop worrying about what the companies are doing with their money and do what YOU can. bitching in a comments section isnt going to make them change. companies exist to make money and generally they dont give a shit about much else. deal with it. Chances are they ARENT going to do anything so do what YOU can. stop using the "but THEY arent giving money so why should i?" excuse. thats all im saying.

An excuse for what?! They donate 0.001% of they're profits and they usualy do that for free publicity and to escape from taxes. Why don't you inform yourself more? There are companies that give as much as they can but there are also many who don't give a f**k.

And (i repet myself) I"m using that for what excuse? I think that helping those children (and any other persons with problem) is a good ideea, but those who have the money don't really care.
