Amazing how they can come up with all the furnishings from the 30's, or were a lot of them custom made "now" from old designs/pictures? The pens pencils would be fairly easy, I am sure there are a lot more collecters of fountains pens/pencils than just me' I havelots of good ones from that period and before.

Ordering porridge in New York? I've never seen porridge on a menu in New York.

@TheLastMonarch I candidly tought all Christie's stories took place somewhere between late twenties and early thirties by default but for some reason insipid details in this adaptation just kept bothering me when I first noticed the clearly anachronistic flag of Egypt, then the newspaper bits, the RMS Queen Mary cameo plus some other details in the props. Hence my questionning... Cheers =)

I am recuperating from an accident and can not really move. Watching the Poirot series has been a wonderful distraction. Thank you so much.

The picture looks great.
Blauwpauwtje, I want to thank you for uploading these videos. I love Agatha Christie & her Poirot, and I have read almost all the books. It is nice to see you put up a number of stories on YouTube, especially the ones from "Poirot Investigates". I have just finished reading that one! Kudos to you!

@andrewbyrdful Well, it's no problem at all, Andrew ;-) I love sharing the episodes with you all (otherwise the dvd's would just be collecting dust in on the shelf) and I'm thrilled that you're enjoying them so much.
