Matt, you realize you're wasting your time arguing with an 18-year-old? I knew everything worth knowing about the world when I was 18 as well. . . .

This is very interesting, but there is a weakness - the ground. A gravel road or sand would be at the very least diminish your speed and agility. Even a random rock or a small stump could hit your vertebrae.

Even a light walking stick will break your fingers if it catches you right ! Either way it is going to hurt like hell for a while. Nice to watch !

this is a legit defence against multiple opponents, i believe bruce lee did something similar in Fist of Fury

@mattkovsky Sweet.

biohax, your statement about the manner in which the knife wielders are holding the knives has zero validity. We aren't dueling in a mano y mano fashion so if you find out what kind of grip the attacker has, you're probably already dead.

what a bunch of newbs...experienced knife fighters never lead with the knife or leave it so exposed. look at how lightly they're gripping the knife and how uncommitted their attacks are too. in exercises like this, the attack should use good form as much as the defender.
Although it looks like a waste of energy to move like that, it also looks intimidating to approach. And it looks like it would definitely help in getting up back to our feet.

@fdesa12 The drill of course uses way more energy to experiment with all possible angles.

@MrSaber152 Yes and unfortunately we have the injuries to prove it.
