Thaye Yashoda classical dance

This is the dance we did for Indian Diwali celebrations in Stockholm.Finally managed to put up the show despite of bad viral fever.. :-)

I know the weather will be pretty cold during Divali season in Stockholm. But I thought auditorium will be airconditioned !. Then why the black(wollen) pants underneath the costume? What was the costume supposed to be? It looks nearer to Mohiniattom! Why didn't you use a simple Bharathanatyam Costume? Having said this, I must admit the performance was GOOD, especially considering it was done by NRIs. Why didn't you make this dance as two separate pieces - "Vandematharam" and "Thaye Yasoda"?!!

@MrMadhu13 : Thanks a lot Madhu for your comments.. I was having  having viral fever then and couldnt help wearing black thermals.. I know it took away the looks.. :-(.. As one person was wearing it, we both decided to wear it...
