  • Do you think that her advice is out dated?? The world has really changed.

  • I always loved her !

  • @lordblazer

with that being said I am going to continue to go beyond the sky, and stars, and do it in a pragmatic, divergent way. I can't lack in any attribute, i must be creative, intelligent, tactful, patient, etc. I hope other brothers and sisters understand this! And no you do not transform into a white person by finding success if you think that then you will forever be a failure as you have a low opinion towards black people and yourself.

  • I agree 100% especially if you are black american you cannot be mediocre!! I don't care if your white friends slack off, you better not. Asian Americans get it, Hispanic Americans get it, every non-white American who is in higher education or the professional world gets it! Even entrepreneurs with little education get it! Results, performance, and nothing but excellence will be accepted. Only white americans get the privilege of being mediocre. The rest of us don't have that luxury.

  • You know I was one of those kids who wanted to be in the middle. It's a shame. Now I'm older still haven't graduated, but I am teaching now. Man what the world have in store for us. Crazy peer pressure. It's true our environment changes our direction.

  • There is too much mediocrity in this country..."

My God if that wasn't truth I don't know what is!!!

  • God bless
