AFTER GLOW

I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one,

I'd like to leave an after glow of smiles when day is done.

I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,

of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.

I'd like the tears of those who grieve,

to dry before the sun of happy memories that I leave behind when the day is done.

Your lack of sensitivity and compassion is really disgusting and stupid, especially if you've suffered from depression as you claim. Just because you have an experience doesn't mean others should or would react the same. What you said is rude and inappropriate. In spite of Richard's success, he took his own life, which is tragic. I'm sure selfishness had nothing to do with it. I can see why you need help yourself.

folks remember the "platypus man" comedy special. But does anyone remember "Platypus Man"...the series? it was richard jeni's short lived sitcom, the helped launch the UPN network

i have the HBO specail " the platypus man " on VHS tape .... taped it when it first aired on HBO back in the day ... early 90's. I need to transfer it to DVD sometime soon. One of the best stand up comedy acts to date.

Did you know he didn't die instantly when he shot himself in the face? I read on wikipedia that paramedics found him alive, but gravely injured. Isn't that hilarious!
