were they in the kitchen?
did they have a variety? and what about a social hierarchy

were there economic classes or was wealth spread out evenly?
yo let me give a shout out to the Chinese society
the people drawn out on filial piety
their extended family is what they love
their ancestors looking down from above
the patriarch male head of the family
authoritated women naturally
women were forced into men shadows
like hiding from the sun they no longer needed aloe
when families wanted a son but they got a girl
they put her aside and gave it another whirl
they bound their women's feet just for the men's treat
the men were just elite
but hey listen to the beat

now the roman empire was pretty widespread
they got the roman roads tangled up like a web
while the economy was good
the economy was great
they didn't have any way to mediate
the social classes
it's what fell the fastest

but the peasants were in masses
while rich got richer the poor got poor
