Resident Evil 4 (PC) - Playing as a glitchy Wesker in the main game

This simple yet strange bug can only be performed in the PC version of Resident Evil 4 (v1.0 or v1.1).

Performing this glitch is very easy. Simply go to the mercenaries game, select Wesker, go back to the main menu and start a new game on any difficulty. Selecting different costumes does not change anything.

I played badly for 3 reasons:
1) I wasn't trying my best - this is only a glitch video
2) I kept on trying to do the glitch-infested thrust punch
3) I used an unlicensed version of Fraps - I had to make sure it was recording properly

This was played on a EU v1.1 binary of the game with several mods (high-res textures, not the cause of this glitch) which can be found here http://z6.invisionfree.com/Resident_Evil_4_PC/
