@altheg It really depends on the company/client and also on whether you have existing data. Either qualitative or quantitative. My experience is that even with data and assumptions the best way to validate is to do small iterative releases. This works with start ups as most larger corporate clients don't do much "beta" releasing. Well Google does.

I'm wondering how good it is to work with so many assumptions. These characters are based on the opinions of the people in the room. What was the quote? “You are not the user”.

The last time we developed these kinds of personas we had to invest 2 months of research. Every persona attribute that we defined had to be evidenced in the data.

I agree that TWi Would be great for Adobe. Lots of content that the creative community needs! Badly. There are amazing opportunities for creatives in the startup / digital / emarketing space. But everyone seems to just focus on the what not the why. If that makese sense.
