@hhijklmjoe -that's just simply not true. You do not need to be personally served and they do not need your signature to obtain judgment against you. The only time a signature is required in Service of Process is for Acknowledgment & Receipt. Not personal service, service by mail or substituted service.

@hhijklmjoe that is totally unttrue. all they need is a process server to file an affadavit of service stating under oath that said pricess server gave you the summons/other papers OR gave it to someone who told you that they were authorized to accept the service on your behalf. They say in the recording that the co. claimed they served the woman's sister. She had no sister. So they filed a fraduland Affadavit of Service. I am a process server. No signatures are required.

what happens is the cc company sells it to a collecion agency for pennys on the dollar probably in this instance $30 and the collection agency sits on it letting it ripen with interest and late fees until it was up to $2000.00 then if you have a funded bank account they go to court to get a judgement against your account which the bank is forced to comply with. They confiscate your money at more than 10 times what you originally owed with no legal recourse. so the collection co.
