the reason i am uploading this part is because i looked for it on youtube but i didnt find any that is in Japanese so i thought about uploading this

@doom1010101 and that is precisely the reason why I watch all my anime in Japanese. You get a better feel for the emotions in most cases.

i found it sad when watching the end of evangelion and shinji almost relives a different version of this scene (as they are in the same clothes etc. it is clearly the same scene) it made it seem as though shinji was trying to relive that one moment because it was the only time he felt somebody need him or could help him, but then obviously in the second one he ends up strangling her :/ i reaaaaaally hope he changes that in the final film remake

@TooLazy65 Thing is, that's not in Asuka's character. She(as well as Shinji, for that matter) suffers from a debilitating fear of being alone, which makes it very hard for her to outright say what her feelings are.

Wow. I didn't realize how much difference there was between the English and Japanese versions. In the English one, they make a lot of noise while kissing, and Asuka gives the obligitory "BLECH!" at the end, giving it all a very comical feel; whereas this version seems to portray the psychology behind it all a lot more clearly.
