Sweeping the floor is keeping the shop hygienic, Sterile practices come from every apprentice cleaning EVERYTHING, it's how we're taught and its just something that isn't questioned. If he saw her cleaning only what looks dirty, and didnt correct it, chances are she would give someone a disease!

i hate to agree with Jodie but shes right on this one. this isnt the karate kid, its being a tattoo artist....she doesnt need to "earn respect" by sweeping the floors and impressing the grand masters, just get on with the tattooing mate.....
