Should point out that when we joined canada we Had money in the bank and lots of fish...since then Newfoundland fish has been used as a trade bargaining chip to the world,the stocks depleted, our minerals and oil still being shiped off or hauled by rail to upper canada for processing.now billions in"debt" we finaly because of oil are a Have provience again(meaning we generate more money than it cost to run the joint)..ya we own canada lol..thanks for the racist comments always good to see those

I (a Canadian) spent a year in Newfoundland outport in the late 1970's and was immediately struck with the inbred intelligence (quite low) and the attitude that there were still "Canadians" and "Newfoundlanders". Get a clue, people, you became Canadians on March 31, 1949. Canada did you a favor with roads, improved medical care, social assistance, etc. One teacher from another province was threatened by a parent for disciplining his kid. You are NOT the center of the universe. Sorry.

Before you judge other peoples way of life, maybe you should look at your own. Ever considered where your meat comes from and how well the animals are treated before slaughter? What about other products in your home like shampoo, soap, dish dergent, etc.... Many animals are tourtured in the devlopment of these products which are common in most "educated" households in Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal. Next time try thinking before posting, well you are American.
