The "official story' of Oswald killing Kennedy is not a conspiracy, The "official story" of Boothe/Lincoln is not, etc. Not everything is a conspiracy under the definition. Its a glass half empty or full situation..is the dictionary definition erroneous? if so, how? Or are conspiracies just that common? Why don't we ever hear believers of the 911 commision say "Believe the official conspiracy!"? How is the word loaded? Sounds like a simple definition.

according to that definition everything could and is a conspiracy. Conspiracy is a loaded word that people use to try to convey their perspective on the issue without even stating what they beleive.

Do you think that when trying to discredit/disprove "truthers", the term "Alternative theory" (which is correct)is not used because it lacks the modern stigma and of the word conspiracy?

i think they use conspiracy to downplay the validity of the 'truthers' claims. That however does not mean the 'truthers' have an valid claim, only that the word that is used to describe their belief is loaded.

'a lot' is a relative term, I know more then the rest of my family but less then someone who has dedicated days to researching this topic. I'd make the claim that I don't know enough about the topic to have an opinion, but I would also say most people if not all people are in the same boat. Whats your point?
