  • So I commented a week ago on this video about how I failed my first welding test. Well they gave me a second shot at it and I made that test my little bitch!! Just thought I'd let you know jody!! Thanks for the tips and keep them coming!

  • @CALI2TEXBOY clueless

  • Hey jody, I failed my first welding test last week. They called and offered me another shot. The test is excactly what you just welded, vert groove with baseplate. I got arc blow while doing the test and I tried my best to work through it but it still cracked. My question is, can I stop in the middle on each pass to try to control heat and avoid arc blow? The instructor said if I needed to stop I should do it in the middle. Should I do this to help with heat? Thanks

  • esse ascendente podia ter melhor aspecto

  • I'll have to do this test before Christmas, practice are going very well, but i cant weave and that make it harder :(

you put the "arc force" aka "arc control" aka "dig" knob to the max ? It must spit a lot.

For now i find it work well with arc control set to 3/10 and 115 amps (1/8 7018)

care to give me some tips on how to get a good stringer without bumps ?

ty, i love your videos :)
