  • Hi: when I run my setup wizard it comes back saying direct play voice setup failed. my mic will not work, please help.

  • @seen13all You may need to update your sound device driver or install an updated directx I think the latest one is directx 10

  • A quick tip; the mic has a boost option that increases the volume, this can knock the quality down a bit sometimes :)

  • When you run the wizard it sets your mic where it is best suited for playback, sounds like you might have the mic boost turned on.
