  • i will be the 1 kid that becomes a popstar and i am the 1 kid with autism!!!

  • Beautiful video! Please take a moment to check out my animated short addressing autism and PECS on my AnmariFilms YouTube page. Spread the love so this can go viral! <3

  • @kgaccount Many doctors don't know what real autism looks like. Hence, they end up diagnosing children with ADHD or Rett's Syndrome or Landau Kleffner Syndrome, with autism.

  • @lamc93 Actually, research shows that there is an epidemic of misdiagnosing children with autism. Google "CBS News 40 percent of Autism diagnosis are incorrect" This hurts people who have authentic autism and need help and support

  • Also, I never implied that you knew nothing. I was diagnosed aged 3 but I was only told about it by my parents when I was 13 (I'm 18 now). I didn't know how to deal with it. I was afraid to tell my friends. But I learned to deal with it, looked up information about it and decided to help out autistic children in my local community. I don't try to use it as an excuse or blame it for something going wrong. I don't think we should argue anymore. Peace?

  • Look Demonmonk, I'm sorry if I caused you offence. I had a problem with all those things that you mentioned and yes, I improved. I understand the hardship (and not just from my own experience). As you know, it's a spectrum disorder. It varies from person to person. What I experienced and your brother experienced is different.

  • Thumbs up if you don't have autism and are proud of it! (I'm joking!)

  • if the population had doubled then the numbers would have doubled. 1 in 1500 would have gone to 2 in 3000 which would reduce to? you got it 1 in 1500. I'v done college level presentations on this exact issue. You're out classed, you're out witted, and you're out spoken. I have friends with aspergers, pdd, autism, and brain damage. I'm going out for my masters in occupational therapy. Which is more than likely the help you received. I know more about true autism than you can learn in a life time.

  • When my brother needs treatment he has to wait be cause 'more productive' autistic "victums" need it first. I know nothing about autism? bullshit I don't know about autism. and I'm not calling all autistic people retarded just people like you that trot around waving it like a golden ticket. I'll give ya credit that it's not easy to live with. but ya know what. you can cross the street with out supervision. so sit down shut up and stop using autism as a sort of shield.

  • I know nothing? My younger brother is PROFOUNDLY autistic. High functioning autism is called aspergers syndrome. doubt me? google it. I'v been dealing with autism for 21 years i grew up next to it. its a cold day in hell when someone can look me in the eye and know more about autism than me. I'v been dealing with morons like you that parade around touting that they have autism.
