Chan Chan

This is a video I did a while back, late at night while taking a study break, of the song chan chan by Compay Segundo (Buena Vista Social Club). It's an awesome song, simple and melodic. I kind of think I look corny at times and I mess up a bit, but there are some bits I really like. So here it is with all its imperfections, I also improvise a bit at the end. And sorry I am not a singer so this is my best attempt I'm also pretty sure i messed up some of the lyrics.

Este video, lo hice tarde en una noche de estudio hace unos meses atras en un momento de descanso. Es de la cancion chan chan de Compay Segundo (Buena Vista Social Club). Esta super buena la cancion (bueno a lo menos la version original jeje), simple pero melodica. Hay momentos en el video donde creo que me veo chistoso, y fallo en algunas partes, pero si hay partes que me gustan bastante. Entonces aqui esta con todas sus imperfecciones y con improvisaciones al final. Oh y tampoco soy cantador asi que mi voz no es la mejor, pero ahi esta el intento, tb creo que me equivoco con la letra en unos momentos pero bueno, igual espero que les guste.

@MtotheOOO i have seen every single cover of this song , and trust me ,all of them ,including this one, lack the cuban taste , there is this thing lacking that we dont know what it is but just a real cuban can play this song properly.... like Celia Cruz said ... Azucar !!!!!!!!

@TheCubanoboy, It is hard to get that cuban feel, i don't claim to have it, but i think in this case you'd probably want to play it more like compay segundo than celia cruz.
