  • It was cool when Jordan did it but c'mon, that's over 10 years later, the joke is getting old. Not to mention Mutombo was on the verge of retirement at the time.

  • "huaaaa"

    k-mart owns his old ass

  • @shanttytown to say kenyon martin has ever dominated in his career is a stretch, he's been a good nba player, no even close to great. He was a tough defender, and super athletic, but he never dominated that much mate, he can thank much of his prime nets days to jason kidd and the run and gun style of that team which inflated his stats and allowed him to make some spectacular plays.

  • @jiggaman6 Yup and Kmart has progressively gotten worse on the Nuggets. If you watched the OKC V Denver playoff series some weeks back he pretty much lost the series for the Nuggets because he couldnt out-jump certain players on OKC's team like Nick Collison which is a disgrace. Instead of dunking it when he had a lane he would instead do a little finger roll and get swatted.

I dont think ive ever seen an amazing player get progressively worse like K-Mart =(

  • @shanttytown I agree. KMart had awesome explosiveness + timing. It's not as if he's just doing these things now. He was jumping over everybody back in his days. So in reality, it's an over the hill guy dunking over an over the hill guy. The over the hill guy who dunked on the over the hill guy just decided to give him a dose of his own medicine.

  • @shanttytown I've been a Nets fan since KMart joined the team. I also know that he used to rank 16th in efficiency rating in the whole league. That's saying a lot.

  • @Illmatic662 I'm just making a comparison that compared to in the past, KMart is also "over the hill" just like Mutombo. Yes, he should have been T'd up. I was just pointing out that it wasn't classless just because he did it to another over the hill guy who used to do it all the time. Wrong choice of words, IMHO.

  • @Illmatic662 That's what injuries can do to a player. KMart was a victim of injuries. I mean, right now he's still pretty decent even after all those surgeries and minus JKidd. Look beyond all the alley-oop dunks from Kidd and you'll know that KMart was/is a great player. He's a double-double machine who can block and steal. He's also an awesome defender who's also an All-Star. Remember, he fought toe to toe against TD and Robinson.

  • @jiggaman6 History lesson? I've been watching the NBA for 15 years now I think I know Kmart damn well. The guy who was only able to succeed when he was with Kidd and then fell to pieces after.

  • @jiggaman6 Limping Grandson? Kmart? Really?

You are comparing a young athletic guy to an old over the hill guy. I just think its disrespectful because the NBA has changed now. You make a valid point that it most likely wasn't right when Mutombo use to do that, but with the soft NBA rules now Kmart at least should have been T'd up for that. This is like some average player dunking on Jordan now, and then shrugging his shoulders.
